Privacy policy

This policy explains the limited information PointRush uses to run a live planning-poker room.

Information used to run a room

PointRush does not require an account. When you join a room, we process the room name, the name and avatar choice you provide, votes, and round activity. Other participants in that room can see the information needed to take part, including your name, avatar, and vote once cards are revealed.

Browser storage

PointRush does not set cookies. Your browser stores your chosen display name and, if you choose one, avatar seed in local storage so they can be reused the next time you visit. It also keeps a temporary, room-specific random session identifier for up to two hours to restore you after a refresh. Leaving a room removes that identifier. You can remove this information by clearing this site's local storage in your browser settings.

Retention

Room information is stored to keep the live session working. Inactive rooms are automatically cleaned up after approximately one hour. PointRush keeps no user account profile or long-term history of your planning-poker sessions.

Your choices

Choose a display name you are comfortable sharing with the room. To remove your saved browser preferences, clear PointRush site data in your browser settings.
